1 About Squad M8s

Squad M8s is a pre-launch gaming platform designed to help players find compatible teammates. The website at squadm8s.com is currently a waitlist and informational site ahead of the app's release.

These terms apply to use of our website. When the app launches, additional terms specific to the app will be published.

2 Using Our Website

You may use squadm8s.com for lawful purposes only. By accessing the site you agree that you will not:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce our content or design without permission
• Use automated tools to submit forms or interact with the site
• Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code

3 Waitlist & Communications

By joining our waitlist you agree to receive occasional emails from Squad M8s relating to our launch, product updates, and early access. These emails will be infrequent and relevant.

You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us at hello@squadm8s.com.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee early access, a specific position in the queue, or any other benefit. We'll do our best to honour the spirit of what we've promised, but cannot make legally binding commitments at this stage.

4 Intellectual Property

All content on squadm8s.com — including the Squad M8s name, logo, visual design, written copy, and code — is owned by Squad M8s and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission. Screenshots for personal use or non-commercial social sharing (e.g. "look at this cool app I found") are fine.

5 Feedback & Suggestions

If you submit ideas, feature requests, or suggestions through our feedback form or by email, you grant Squad M8s a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use those ideas in any way, without any obligation to credit or compensate you.

We love hearing from the community and take all feedback seriously — this clause simply protects us from any future IP claim over ideas that were freely shared.

6 Disclaimers

The Squad M8s website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the website will be available at all times without interruption
• That the app will launch on any specific date or with any specific feature set
• That information on the site is always completely accurate or up to date

We're a small team building something we're proud of, but we can't make absolute guarantees at this stage of development.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Squad M8s shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the website or waitlist service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us — which, as the site is currently free, is zero.

8 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

For significant changes, we'll notify waitlist members by email where possible.

9 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Squad M8s is based. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
